Most of us spent our twenties and early thirties inside expectations we didn't choose. Systems that weren't designed for us. Versions of success we'd internalised before we knew any better. At home, at work, in society.
For a while, it worked. We did well. We over-achieved. We got the things we were told to want. Then at some point, usually after a lot of years and a lot of evidence, we started to know ourselves better. We noticed what we'd outgrown. We felt the difference between the life we had built and the life we would build now, knowing what we know.
This community is for professionals in that place. In that knowing. Building work, relationships, inner lives, and futures that are actually ours.

Landed events
Meet-ups and workshops
Our meet-ups and workshops are where the community comes together in person to talk honestly about the things that don't get said publicly.
We bring in people who've lived it and those who can teach the practical skills, and an inclusive room where people share what they're actually noticing, experiencing, and asking each other the questions they can't ask anywhere else.
The format is part discussion, part teaching, part practice. You leave with new language for what you're inside, real tools you can use the next week, and a group of women who get it.

Hey! I'm Ellen Nguyen!
I'm a community builder, writer, author and podcast host. I moved to the UK at 17 and I've built an abundant life and thriving career in Financial Services at director level. Over the past decade I've worked at companies including Mastercard, J.P. Morgan and Google (as a contractor), with journalism bylines in BBC Worklife and Business Insider along the way. I've published several books, most recently How You Heal in Your 20s, host the Landed podcast, and have built a community of 40K+ across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

A video podcast about building life abroad in the UK
You came to the UK. You got the job. And then one day you look up and realise: the map ran out. There's no next obvious milestone. No blueprint. No checklist. Just... life. Your life. In a country that still sometimes feels like it belongs to other people.
On this podcast, Iām talking to people, just like you and me, who are figuring it out in real time, what it means to grow, to belong, to lead, to grieve what you left behind, and to build a life that's actually yours.
This is what landing really looks like.
